Star Struck
Newcastle Port Corporation keeps busy bringing commercial vessels through the port. We also help the local community, including helping children through some worthwhile initiatives. Star Struck sees the cream of Hunter and Central Coast children singing, dancing and producing one of Australia's greatest school-based shows which is held at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre in June each year. Newcastle Port Corporation is one of Star Struck's original sponsors (from1993) and has maintained that support each year. The 2010 event will be the 18th consecutive year that Newcastle Port Corporation has sponsored Star Struck. It is a sponsorship of which the Corporation is proud because of the rich experience it provides for so many children. |
