Coal Vessels

 

           Handy class which can load between 20,000 and 40,000 tonnes and discharge from any river port in the world. 

         Panamax class which can load about 60,000 tonnes - description comes from these ships being able to sail through the Panama Canal

         Cape class can load between 80,000 and 180,000 tonnes - description comes from these ships being able to sail around the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Horn
