Ships and Cargo
With over 3000 shipping movements per annum, vessel safety is paramount in the Port. Highly skilled marine pilots from the Newcastle Port Corporation board the ships and provide advice to the ships' masters to assist vessels arriving and departing from the Port. State of the art navigation aids are used within the Port to assist pilots in moving vessels. |
