Port ChargesSchedule of Port Charges Administered by the Newcastle Port CorporationNewcastle Port Corporation has made adjustments to its Port Pricing schedule to take effect from 1 July. This is the first overall restructure of pricing that Newcastle Port Corporation has undertaken since 1990, although there have been some minor adjustment to charges in recent years. In undertaking this pricing restructure, Newcastle Port Corporation has endeavoured to ensure prices remain competitive and reflect the level of service provided to all port users. The amended Schedule of Port Pricing, effective 1 July 2009, can be viewed here.
A review of the Port Pricing Schedules has been completed. The review identified the inclusion of a site occupation charge at the Channel Berth for passenger cruise vessels. No other element of the Port Pricing Schedule has been changed.
